Dr. Justin Houman is a Board-Certified Urologist and fellowship-trained Men’s Sexual and Reproductive Health specialist whose practice is focused on male fertility, erectile dysfunction, sexual performance, testosterone management, Peyronie’s Disease, vasectomy reversals, and vasectomies. As a minimally invasive microscopic surgeon, he specializes in microsurgical varicocelectomies, vasectomy reversals, sperm retrievals, penile implants, Peyronie’s disease, and male incontinence. His practice is centered on enhancing men’s quality of life through hormone management, improving sexual function, and achieving reproductive goals.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Houman serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he is dedicated to training the next generation of physicians. Through his teaching, mentorship, and surgical expertise, he helps shape the future of men’s health care while advancing the field through education and innovation.
Education and Training
In his academic pursuits, Dr. Houman has contributed extensively to the field of Men’s Health through research, publications, and international presentations. His work on male fertility, sexual health, and the health effects of wearable technology has been featured in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Journal of Sexual Medicine. He has also been invited to share his research on both national and international stages, helping to shape the conversation around the future of men’s health.
A second-generation Urologist and son of a prominent Urologist, Dr. Houman was born and raised in Orange County, California. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Biomedical Research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), before receiving his medical doctorate from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He then completed his General Surgery internship and Urology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at UCLA Medical Center – one of the nation’s most specialized training programs.
Dr. Houman is an active member of the American Urological Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the International Society of Sexual Medicine, and the Los Angeles Urologic Society. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi, he is committed to providing care that is both globally informed and culturally sensitive.
